Extended Hours & Closures for Fall 2019

As we head into the holiday season, Hubbard Library wanted to inform patrons about upcoming closures and end of term hours. Below are the anticipated library closure dates and end of term hours. We will communicate any additional adjustments if they are necessary.

For fall 2019, the following will be in effect:

Monday, December 2 – Friday, December 6 AND Monday, December 9 – Friday, December 13: Extended Hours for Finals – Open 9am – 9pm.
Monday, December 16 – Wednesday, December 18: Inter-term Hours – Open 10am – 5pm
Thursday, December 19 – Wednesday, January 1: Closed for Christmas and New Years’ Holidays

Advance Your Academics – Research 101 Workshop

The David Allan Hubbard Library and the Writing Center want YOU to be the best graduate student you can be! Save the date and attend our workshop on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 11am – 1pm. During this event, you will learn how to navigate the Library’s resources and craft excellent research papers. This workshop is being offered both online and in-person.

The workshop is FREE and space is limited, so please RSVP here by January 10, 2020. Light refreshments will be served and we encourage you to bring a sack lunch.

Want to Learn a Language? Try Mango!

It’s more than a fruit – it is a way to learn a language!

Mango Languages offers instruction and learning for 77 languages and counting. Languages include Spanish, Biblical Hebrew, Ancient Greek, and Latin. The program also includes Specialty Courses, which feature culture and themes relating to the language you are learning as well as using movie clips! Electronic Resource Help Desk Hours

This fall quarter, dedicated electronic resource help will be available at the Hubbard Library front desk and online during the following hours:

Tuesday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Wednesday 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

(All times are pacific standard time.)

To request help online, please email lib-systems@fuller.edu, or “Chat Now” through the Ask a librarian & FAQ tab on the Fuller Library home page.

Live chat will be available during posted hours, but you are welcome to email lib-systems@fuller.edu at any time for help troubleshooting or accessing all of our electronic databases, eJournals, eBooks, Wepa accounts, or web resources.

eResource help is also available by appointment through the library reservation system. Appointments are available in person and via phone or video conference, Monday through Thursday, 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm.
