• Holding Personal Items

The circulation staff is unable to hold envelopes, backpacks, or personal items of any kind for patrons.  We are also unable to hold library books for patrons, even if the patron plans to return the next morning to use the same books.

  • Study Carrels

Patrons may not leave materials in study carrels overnight or for any extended period of time.  Any library materials left on tables or in study carrels will be removed, checked in, and re-shelved.

  • General Library Use

Open talking areas are located on the first floor (outside of the Depree and Weyerhauser reading rooms), group study spaces, and on the third floor balcony. Phone privacy booths are also available in select locations.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not to use their parents’ login information to use the library’s computers.

Soliciting is not permitted in the library. The David Allan Hubbard Library is a private research library that reserves the right to remove patrons for failure to comply with library policies.

Pets of any kind are not allowed in the library. Verified service animals are welcome.
