In his XXXX book, “What Technology Wants,” Kevin Kelly argues for several big ideas: that technology is actually, not metaphorically, the ongoing unfolding of the evolutionary process of life; that technological inventions are as inevitable as evolutionary adaptation in biological life; that new technologies have not and can not be reliably restricted.   While controversial, this perspective on technology-as-life has significant implications for Christians who build new technolgies as well as those of us who use and are shaped by them.
